I’ve been a housewife, taking care of my 2 stepkids while my husband provided for us. Recently, my dad left me a $40k inheritance, and my husband said it would help with the family expenses. I told him, “My dad left this money for me, to spend on myself!”

He nodded. Next day, I was horrified to find that my closet was empty of my favorite clothes. Most of my bags and shoes were gone. I went to the living room, where my husband was, and saw my things packed in boxes
