I Took My Baby and Left My Husband After Revealing He Was Calling Me “SWMBO”

One woman shared how a simple message led to the end of her marriage. While her husband was in the shower, she saw a message on his phone from his sports club. It read, “Don’t think I can make it tonight. SWMBO will say no.” Confused by “SWMBO,” she asked him, and he casually explained, “She Who Must Be Obeyed.”

The woman was devastated by his disrespect. Despite years together and having a child, she realized she deserved more. She couldn’t be with a man who saw her as someone to obey, not a partner. A week later, she took their son and left.
