I Refuse to Raise Another Baby, So I Threw My Pregnant 16-Year-Old Daughter Out of My Home

I became a mother at 16, which “ruined my future” as no one helped me raise my daughter. Now, at 32, my daughter is 16 and pregnant.

The baby’s father isn’t involved, and she expects us to raise the child together. I told her, “I’m definitely not ready to raise another child.” Despite this, she insisted on keeping the baby.

In response, I put all her belongings outside, knowing she had nowhere to go. When I returned home, my valuable possessions were gone—she took my gold earrings, cash, and even some kitchen appliances. She left a letter saying since I was throwing her out while she was still underage, she was taking what she considered her “right” to start a new life.

Days have passed, and I haven’t heard from her. A friend told me she’s fine and has rented a flat. Now, I’m confused and unsure of what to do.
