Richard Goodall, a West Vigo Middle School janitor, won America’s Got Talent 2024 after wowing judges and viewers with performances of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” and Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger.” His journey began when a TikTok video of him singing to students went viral, leading to an appearance on AGT. He received a golden buzzer from judge Heidi Klum, which sent him straight to the quarterfinals.

Goodall’s success resonated with many, especially after his inspirational message to students: “You can achieve anything at any age.” Loved by judges and viewers alike, he became the people’s favorite, winning the competition with 69.57% of the votes.
