During a public rally in Norfolk, Virginia, over the weekend, Donald Trump was mercilessly humili:ated after urging the audience to “boo” one of his predecessors.

The 79-year-old insulted Barack Obama, or at least attempted to, when speaking to a sea of US Navy officers (pun intended!) on Sunday, October 4, at a celebration of the special force’s 250th anniversary.

Trump abruptly focused his attention on a few rows, where people who were serving in active duty were seated, over an hour into his long speech.

However, it’s crucial to remember that some of these military troops have not received compensation since the contentious US government shutdown. Trump addressed this issue in his speech, telling the audience, “We will get our service members every last penny.” Don’t stress over it.

Trump shifted between telling tales of battles he hasn’t been in and making jokes about the highs and lows of military life, seemingly in an effort to impress the gathering.

However, it seemed that the most agonizing part of the right-wing frontman’s speech was still to come. In what has been called a comedy disaster, he tried to wash the 44th President a few minutes later.
