The victim was identified as Jorge Iv\u00e1n C\u00e1ceres Fern\u00e1ndez, originally from Moca, who was driving a white Ford SUV.<\/p>\n

A woman identified as Vilma Santana was also traveling in the vehicle and was seriously injured. Initial reports indicate that the SUV collided with a rice truck. The truck\u2019s occupants suffered only minor injuries.<\/p>\n

The accident occurred near the Don Francisco rest stop, on the stretch that connects Santo Domingo with Saman\u00e1.<\/p>\n

Agents from DIGESETT, along with the National Police and the 9-1-1 Emergency System, quickly arrived at the scene to assist those affected.<\/p>\n

Authorities have launched an investigation to clarify the cause of the accident and determine responsibility.<\/p>\n
