I mean at this stage there\u2019s very little Curtis hasn\u2019t seen and done in the entertainment industry. A stalwart of the acting scene for multiple decades, she\u2019s built a loyal fan base that\u2019s always keen to stay up to date with her comings and goings.<\/p>\n

Perhaps that\u2019s why the 65-year-old received so much attention after trading her signature gray pixie cut for a longer hairstyle earlier this summer.<\/p>\n

According to reports, the\u00a0Halloween\u00a0<\/em>star was snapped on the set of\u00a0Freakier Friday,\u00a0<\/em>the sequel to the popular film of the 00s in which she starred alongside Lindsay Lohan.<\/p>\n

Having stepped out of her trailer during a pause from filming, Curtis flaunted a new look that saw her sporting longer locks, though they remained gray.\u00a0Freakier Friday\u00a0<\/em>is due to premiere in 2025, and sees Curtis reprise her role as Tess Coleman.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the media last year, the actress admitted that she felt a follow-up to the original\u00a0Freaky Friday\u00a0<\/em>was overdue.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs I went around the world with \u2018Halloween Ends,\u2019 people wanted to know if there was going to be another \u2018Freaky Friday\u2019 [\u2026] When I came back, I called my friends at Disney and said, \u2018It feels like there\u2019s a movie to be made,\u2019\u201d\u00a0the 65-year-old explained.<\/p>\n

The plot for the first flick \u2013 which was well received by audiences worldwide \u2013 focuses on a mother-daughter duo who swap bodies. Thought it\u2019s not yet been officially confirmed if the sequel will follow a similar narrative, it makes sense to assume that there will be plenty of laughs involved.<\/p>\n

Curtis is no stranger to testing different hairstyles, as the actress admitted back during a 2021 interview.<\/p>\n

She said\u00a0at the time<\/a>: \u201cI tried to do everything you can do to your hair. Personally, I felt it [was] humiliating. I would go into a hair salon\u2014the smell of the chemicals, the feeling of that color on my hair [\u2026] wearing the thing, sitting under the hairdryer\u2014I was like, \u2018For what?\u2019\u201d\u00a8<\/p>\n

\u201cSo very early on in my career, I had a perm and then had to dye my hair for a movie and it burned my hair off my head. And the first time I cut my hair short, I went, \u2018Oh! [\u2026] Wow, I look like me!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Needless to say, there was plenty of feedback offered by fans after pictures of Curtis on the set of\u00a0Freakier Friday\u00a0<\/em>surfaced online. Though the 65-year-old\u2019s long, gray locks are simply the work of a well-fitted wig, internet denizens had a lot to say about Curtis\u2019 appearance, and not all of it was positive.<\/p>\n
