Little Johnny\u2019s math grade was so bad that his teacher called home. That afternoon, when Johnny got home, his father stood at the door, clearly upset.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhy did you fail your math test?\u201d his father asked sternly.<\/p>\n
Johnny simply shrugged and said, \u201cMy teacher isn\u2019t very good.\u201d<\/p>\n
Surprised by this response, his father urged him to explain further. Johnny began, \u201cOn Monday, my teacher said 3+5 equals 8.\u201d<\/p>\n
His father looked confused. \u201cAnd?\u201d<\/p>\n
Johnny continued, \u201cThen on Tuesday, she told us 4+4 equals 8. On Wednesday, she said 6+2 equals 8.\u201d<\/p>\n
Now it was Johnny\u2019s father\u2019s turn to be astonished. \u201cSo what does that have to do with you failing?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n
Johnny sighed and explained, \u201cIf my teacher doesn\u2019t even know what equals eight, how am I supposed to know the right answer?\u201d<\/p>\n
