It was time for them to start over. Lexi and Danny had been friends for ten years until she met her soul mate. Over time, feelings of love evolved, and the two friends eventually decided to marry. Danny\u2019s brilliance resided in his capacity to accept Lexi wholeheartedly, regardless of her appearance. \u201cHe never saw me as my size, asked me to change, or made me feel anything other than beautiful,\u201d Lexi said on Instagram.Danny, on the other hand, led an equally unhealthy lifestyle and battled to stay physically fit. Lexi celebrated her 25th birthday by weighing 392 pounds. Danny weighed 280 pounds and was two years Lexi\u2019s senior. \u201cI was always an emotional eater, and food was always there for me no matter what,\u201d Lexi explained. The two proceeded to drag each other down over time. They both engaged in harmful practices, according to Lexi, but they gradually accepted that their weight was a problem.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The couple from Terre Haute, Indiana, were aware that they needed to make some adjustments, but they were both too afraid to do so.\u201dWe easily consumed 4,000 calories per day.\u201d Vegetables were rarely served. Lexi told the Daily Mail, \u201cEverything we ate was either fried or fast food.\u201d Lexi\u2019s weight also hampered her daily functioning. She became increasingly uneasy about her current situation. Lexi recalls the precise moment when she had had enough. \u201cI had long been looking forward to going to an amusement park and riding the roller coaster,\u201d she explains. \u201cHowever, when I got to the front of the line, I was told I was too heavy.\u201d I was unable to attend. It was quite embarrassing.\u201dLexi made the decision to take action in January of 2016. The couple resolved to make substantial changes in their lives, beginning with a new diet. It would be challenging due to their shared passion and primary interest, food.\u201cWe frequently went to Asian all-you-can-eat buffets.\u201d \u201cAfter that, we went home and ordered more fast food,\u201d Lexi explains. Lexi started the \u201cFat Girl Fed Up\u201d Instagram account to share their weight reduction journey and inspire others to make healthy lifestyle changes.Although reducing weight would be difficult, Lexi and Danny had two things going for them: determination and mutual support.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe were fed up with the life we were living and all the things we couldn\u2019t do as a couple.\u201d \u201cWe were also afraid that if we didn\u2019t get our health under control, we wouldn\u2019t be able to start a family,\u201d Lexi explained. Lexi has lost about 240 pounds. Danny has shed 70 pounds in total. Going to the gym was a necessary part of the weight loss process. Naturally, Lexi found it difficult to attend the neighborhood gym, but she persevered. \u201cI started going there when I got a free trial and fell in love with it because it was never too crowded, my machine faced the wall (so I didn\u2019t feel like everyone was watching me), and I found a machine called the CrossRamp that didn\u2019t hurt my joints at 485 pounds.\u201dThe two committed to follow the following rules for a month: \u201cno eating out, no soda, no alcohol, no cheat meals, and working out for 30 minutes five times a week.\u201d They decided to make a bet with their pals and try to spend 30 days without consuming fast food. They have, however, made significant progress since then. They now put forth a lot more effort to organize their meals and always do so with a healthy mindset. They also discovered that cooking meals together produces better results. Lexi isn\u2019t bothered by this because her new healthy lifestyle is making her feel so much better.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lexi\u2019s present lifestyle is the consequence of her new habits, and she has a lot of encouragement from her friends and Instagram followers. Of course, the transition is dramatic. At first appearance, you\u2019d never guess they were the same folks. Look look how happy they are!\u201dDanny and I are still working very hard every day to achieve our goal,\u201d Lexi proudly declares. \u201cWe\u2019re not quite there yet, but I never imagined we\u2019d get this far.\u201d It\u2019s simply wonderful. Many tiny steps can add up to big results.\u201d Lexi\u2019s weight loss Instagram posts were initially overlooked, but they now have a large following. Lexi has over 1.2 million Instagram followers that follow her daily activities in 2021. Lexi and Danny have shared their inspirational story on a variety of television shows over the years.They haven\u2019t let their celebrity alter who they are as a couple. Lexi and Danny, on the other hand, have remained humble. They are aware that they must continue to push themselves in order to maintain their positive behaviors.\u201cEvery day is a non-scale victory that reminds me how far I\u2019ve come.\u201d I mean, I loved myself even when I was 485 pounds, but simply being able to get up and do anything I wanted and travel wherever I wanted\u2026 \u201cI no longer feel like a prisoner in my own body,\u201d Lexi explains. Despite her current state, Lexi continues to workout and spread the message that everything is possible. \u201cStart small \u2014 small changes add up to big results \u2014 and focus on each day, not how far you have to go,\u201d she advises. This couple has had an incredible and motivating trip! It\u2019s encouraging to watch Lexi and Danny improving. Lexi and Danny inspire me because they show how far people can go when they set their minds to something and work hard enough. They\u2019ve been through it all together and are happier than they\u2019ve ever been!<\/strong><\/p>\n
